Childhood and Developmental Disorders
These disorders begin in childhood and affect development, learning, behavior, and social skills. Examples include:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD):A range of conditions characterized by challenges in communication, repetitive behaviors, and restricted interests. Severity can vary widely.
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): Characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that interfere with functioning.
