Psychosis
Psychosis is a severe mental health condition in which an individual loses contact with reality. It’s characterized by distorted thoughts, perceptions, and emotions. Symptoms include:
- Hallucinations: Seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not present.
- Delusions: Strong, unshakeable beliefs in things that are not true.
- Disorganized Thinking: Difficulty organizing thoughts, leading to incoherent speech or behavior.
- Psychosis can occur in conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and severe depression.
